Boil Water Alert: Ambridge and Harmony

Ambridge and Harmony were issued a boil water advisory by the Ambridge Water Authority (AWA) because of a water main break.
Other areas that get water from AWA won’t be affected.
It could take some time to lift the advisory. After the break is fixed, an additional two days of testing is expected to be lifted.
Water buffaloes are located behind the Ambridge and Harmony municipal buildings to help those without service, however, that water will still need to be boiled.  Bottled water also is being supplied at the Ambridge municipal building. In addition, bottled water is being supplied to the Ambridge municipal building.
